The first book from the show

Here is a slighty unbound scan of the book that we just finished printing, cutting, and folding. It is a book of how to use some of the plants in the garden to cure common ailments. The illustrations were done by a Chilean comic artist Pedro Peirano and the inner jacket drawing is Punto. The artist is even currently in an exhibition( of Chilean comic art that I went and saw today. We even printed a fabric version of the book which can be hung in the garden to challenge the worst weather. The worst weather seems to be a dry heat at least until April.

  1. Please reserve a copy of the book for me. This is beautiful and wonderful!

I wonder: Where does the knowledge about the use of herbs and plants for medicinal purposes come from (wise women or grannies?) and how is it shared (has it been written down or is it by stories that are told)?
