The Waterloo Arts Fest on June 30th was the premiere of the mobile printing press affectionately named
Shirley T. The Press is equipped to print paper and t-shirts depending on which side you choose to screw the hinges into. This model is made with up cycled materials and even the washout tub was discovered abandoned in a park. The device will be joined by a companion device for coating and exposing the screens named
Rose Louise. The fest was fun and many maps and a few t-shirts were printed throughout the day. This event and device are funded through the Artist in Residence grant through
The Community Partnership for Arts And Culture.
Yay what a girl!
