Everything packs up neatly
The Waterloo Arts Fest on June 30th was the premiere of the mobile printing press affectionately named Shirley T. The Press is equipped to print paper and t-shirts depending on which side you choose to screw the hinges into. This model is made with up cycled materials and even the washout tub was discovered abandoned in a park. The device will be joined by a companion device for coating and exposing the screens named Rose Louise. The fest was fun and many maps and a few t-shirts were printed throughout the day. This event and device are funded through the Artist in Residence grant through The Community Partnership for Arts And Culture.
